「フロープス（Flowps）」は大林組技術研究所により開発された
モニュメント型防風装置です。対称形につくられた羽が、
風の抵抗となると同時に、自然の風の微妙なバランスに
反応して回転するようにつくられています。
今回この場所のためにコンペティションが行われ、
身近な野菜をモチーフにしたデザインが採用されました。
「ストリート・ペッパー」は街の風景に
新鮮な驚きと発見を提供するピーマンです。

Flowps is a monumental wind breaker work developed by OBAYASHI CORPORATION. The blades are designed in symmetry and rotates with the slight movements of air. A competition was held for a work to be sited in this space, and the winning work uses the motif of an everyday vegetable. Street Pepper is a pepper which introduces a sense of discovery and surprise into the urban landscape.
